The left side image is the result of expansion by bilinear interpolation. The right side image is the result of expansion by zero-order interpolation.
Before super-resolution

Color-demosicing by bilinear interpolation.

Color-demosicing by bilinear interpolation & expansion by zero-order interpolation.

Color-demosicing by an edge-preserving method & expansion by bi-cubic interpolation.

In the images above, the characters are not recognizable.
However, those becomes possible if the super-resolution algorithm which we develped is applied, as shown below.
