I am an assistant professor (research associate) at Okutomi & Tanaka Lab. in Tokyo Tech. I completed my PhD at Chiba University under the supervision of Prof. Atsushi Imiya. Before coming to Tokyo Tech I spent 4.5 years as a post-doc in the Center for Machine Perception (CMP) at Czech Technical University in Prague, working with Assitant Prof. Tomas Pajdla.

My research is in computer vision. I am particularly interested in 3D reconstruction, place recognition and localization (structure from motion, multi-view stereo, feature matching, image description, indexing and matching).
